Costuluto Genevese tomatoes
So now that I have the rest of the vegetables survey , I desire to critique my most preferent vegetable in 2012 - TOMATOES!!There were many I would keep BUT also a LOT I would knock down !
ALL - STAR TOMATO LIST !
Costuluto Genevese tomatoes
RED
-Pantano Romanesco - good manufacturer - metier size , excellent honest-to-goodness - fashioned flavor
-Costoluto Genoese - good manufacturer - smaller but such a beautiful tomato and excellent sometime - fashioned flavor
-Goldsman Italian American - vainglorious pear tree shape - my all time favourite for sauce - takes all time of year to ripen though but worth it
-Fireworks - good former manufacturer - smaller is better for some people and great taste - old mode flavor
-Beefy Boy - good producer , intermediate size - proficient taste
-Matina – belittled earlier tomato - upright flavor
-Original Goliath - medium size of it , few cracks - good appreciation
-Big Zacs - Brobdingnagian tomato - huge appreciation ! A favorite !
BI - COLOR
-Striped German - supersweet med to tumid tomato
-Ananas Noir - tremendous complex sweet flavour - special K with a bloom - demand to implant more
-Virginia Sweet - tops first-rate angelic - the sweetest of all tomatoes I uprise ! One of my favorites !
BLACK OR PURPLE
-Paul Robeson - sweet , complex spirit -Cherokee Purple - sweetened , complex flavour
-Cherokee Purple - great sweet complex smell
-Black Pear - sweet , complex smell
-Southern Nights - gratifying , complex flavour
-Brown Sugar - sweet , complex smell
ORANGE / YELLOW
-Jaune Flamme - minor tomato , few cracks - a favorite at the Farmers grocery store
-Lemon Boy - supersweet medium tomato
CHERRY TOMATOES
-Black cherry red - excellent complex relish - one of my ducky
-Green grape vine - sweet-flavored fruity flavor
-Sun Sugar - the sweetest flavor of these cherry tomatoes
-Golden Pearl - fresh flavor - very prolific
tomato plant DUMP LIST !
-Beauty Queen - looks cracking but very suave taste - adopt all season to mature
-Gold Medal - expect great but very flat taste , deal all time of year to mature
-Woodle Orange - not a great producer take all season for a few and taste bland
-Aunt Gertie ’s Gold - disappointing feeling
-Honey hybrid - not a great manufacturer - smell just ok
-Juliet - cherry Lycopersicon esculentum - some people love it but for me it tasted like grocery storage tomatoes
