Build a DIY compost bank identification number cursorily , easily and cheaply . This beautiful compost bin is build from cedar fencing boards and cheap 2 x 2s . dewy-eyed conception anyone can put together in a couple hours .

Supplies
10 – cedarwood 6 foot fence boards ( 5.5 inches wide)4 – 8 base 2 x 2 furring strip board ( you may get redwood for $ 1 more per board)Exterior Grant Wood glue2.5 to 3 inche Natalie Wood screwsBrad nail for nailer

Cut Materials for Compost Bin
Using amiter saw(or have the big box memory cut for you ) 4 small-arm of 2 x 2 to 36 inches long and 4 pieces to 34 inches long .
Assemble Frames
gum and love two 2 x 2 ’s at 36 inch to two 2 x 2 ’s at 34 inches to make a square frame . ( predrill pickle to prevent splitting of wood , see telecasting for more info )
progress another straightforward anatomy the same as the above , using the remaining 2 x 2 furring strip strip or redwood .
Cut cedar fence boards
swerve top dogeared portion of cedar fence panel to 37 inches , there should be ten total .
The bead will be used later . the dogeared portion is on the left over and overlook is on the rightfulness in photo below .
tie 5 dogeared boards to solid frame with brad nails or piece of ass . Spacing equally across frame ( no need to be exact , you’re able to eye it )
On this one I did not start at the very end but in the video I show you how I ended up doing it substantially . ( at least I care the video one better )
You should have 5 dogeared gameboard ace at the top and bottom of the skeleton .
Once both frames are done space them out the length of the drop from the dogeared boards . These will be slightly under 3 foot long .
Here is the mathematics , the cedar tree fence card were 6 foundation long , you slew 37 inches from the top ( 36 inches is 3 feet ) so what you have left as drop-off should be around 35 inch long .
Attach side pieces
bend the framed on their sides and hold up them to remain upright .
bond 5 cedarwood fence board drops to each side of the frame . In the photo below you’re able to see the frames on their side and I am nailing the cross piece on which make a box .
Place your DIY compost bin in garden
Take to your garden or wherever you are going to place your compost bin and set in position .
This is one of 3 I build and it is setting next to my pear tree diagram in myside garden .
The front view it seems like a part of fence and is a nice accent and even the side survey is pretty too .
To make it even more attractive I will plant morning resplendence or another climbing annual beside it to vine up and blossom !
