" Half a year ago I make up one’s mind it was time to turn back to IFTEX , after over 30 year , " read John Pouw of Viking Roses . Viking rosebush is a rose upbringing company that has a nearly 20 - yr collaboration with the Danish breeder of Roses Forever . In the early nineties , John , then on behalf of De Ruiter ’s , take care the first Nairobi exhibition . More recently , he and his co-worker Angeline Abuti obtained an IFTEX stand for Viking rosebush to showcase their Danish - spawn mixture . Continuity and special experiences"Dick van Raamsdonk is a dead on target show master , " says John about the IFTEX organizer . " I have visited many of his shows , and I think they became progressively professional over the years . I am glad that I returned to IFTEX . It was great to see that it is still an event where you could easily tie in with others to establish partnerships and learn more about the modish movement . In that respect , it has not changed much over the past three decade , " John states .
Although John has quite some experience with assist trade wind shows , he says that he had some unique experiences at the IFTEX . " Initially I was not really happy with the position of our stand which was more at the back of the locus . Yet , looking back I think it made that we were n’t outshone by the pedestal of other company . Actually , our stand was rather modest : no arrangement , no show , but pots and vase inviting the visitors to take out the flowers for a close look . Our flowers received a lot of tending . Some company owners even visited us twice to have a better look at some of the cut - blush wine . This has never happened to me , and this is not the first time that I attend a trade show , " John express .

" I did n’t expect that there would be already so much attention for biological open field cultivation . I am very felicitous to see that the flower sector is seriously concerned about environmental and biological culture . Our squad has been ask in bio trials in the capable field for several years . Thanks to IFTEX I could connect to interested parties that will amount and see the trials . Similarly , we received quite some visitor that were interested in perfumed roses . It seems like this is becoming more important , and that agriculturist see potential difference in sweet rosiness that do not damage and have a honorable vase life . We have been involve in the fosterage of perfumed roses for quite a while , but in previous years these roses have only received small attention . "
" These are some thing that I happen and memorize at IFTEX . I think this and the other experiences make it such a valuable trade wind fair , " John concludes .
