Scenes from a restored garden space
My name is Megan , and I live in Kentish Town , North London , England . When we moved into our theatre , our garden was a full shambles — crumbly brick walls , brokentrellises , and rotteddecking . We now have a piffling oasis with a combining of formal planting and brilliant colour .
Though unremarkably grown for its colourful foliage , coral bells ( Heucherahybrids , Zones 5–9 ) has clouds of small flower that can be quite endearing as well .
It ’s hard to beat a perfectdahlia(Dahliahybrid , Zones 8–11 or as a tender bulb ) with its level upon bed of thoroughgoing white petals blossom forth . Dahlias are as beautiful in the garden or in a vase indoors .

The darkcontainermakes these beautiful white lobelias ( Lobeliaerinus , Zones 10–11 or as an annual ) seem even smart .
The garden is home not just to beautiful peak — these dodger enjoy the space as well ! I hope they do their part to keep hungryrabbitsand otherpestsaway .
Cranesbill , or fearless geranium ( Geraniumhybrid , Zones 5–9 ) is a wonderful perennial . It ’s easy to like for and has cloud of beautiful blue flowers .

This gorgeous array oftulipsis mixed with heuchera and primroses ( Primulahybrid , Zones 3–8 ) .
