The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society ( PHS ) announced appointments for its 2024 Board of Directors . Among these esteemed individuals are leaders from divers industries and scope , each poise to give their expertise to the forward motion of PHS ’s foreign mission .

Margaret Sadler – Board ChairAs a longtime Board member and old Board Chair , PHS is thrilled to have Sadler stride into the Board Chair position for a second fourth dimension , further solidify her commitment to further growth and excellency within PHS .

Margaret Sadler spent her career as a Human Resource ( 60 minutes ) executive for multinational corporations , helping manager resolve organizational trouble . Throughout her career , she took time to be involved with many non-profit-making and politics agencies , from chairing a Civil Service Commission to a seat on an Historic House Board . Sadler is a former regent of the Women ’s Law Project , where she served as Chair of the Governance and HR committees . She is the late retiring President of Friends of Falls Library and presently Trustee and Treasurer of the Woodmere Art Museum . Since 2012 , Sadler has done pro bono consulting for nonprofits that have included social service and societal change and cultural and educational organizations . Her consulting has addressed such topics as board growth and preparation , strategic planning , organisational judgement , geomorphological alteration , and succession preparation .

In this purpose , Eric oversee Bank of America ’s Commercial Banking team , which provides a full range of banking solutions to party throughout the region with annual revenues of $ 50 million to $ 2 billion . Most recently , Eric was a Senior Relationship Manager , dish up commercial clients in the region . Prior to this , he spend eleven years in various commercial-grade and external banking roles . Eric is on the International Business Advisory Committee at Elizabethtown ( Pa. ) College . He is a former appendage of the Board of Directors of CCSA ( Chester Charter Scholars Academy ) Foundation and currently serves on their Fundraising Committee .
Alison Marx – Board MemberAlison Marx is the Vice Chair of Administration for the Department of Pediatrics at The Children ’s Hospital of Philadelphia ( CHOP ) . She run administrative aspects of operations , preparation , and academic activities of the department . She partner with physician and administrative leader to set ahead strategical goals , grow effectual systems , and support positive result for patient , families , and 800 + faculty / Dr. and staff . She designed and Colorado - guide the Department of Pediatrics Chair ’s Initiatives , an internal grant funding program with the object of initiating change and endow in innovation , timbre , safety , and the time to come of child wellness . Marx is a fellow member of the CHOP Cares Community Advisory Board and an warm supporter of the institution ’s Reach Out and Read program . His other community liaison has include service on the boards of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania , Bartram ’s Garden , the Philadelphia Society for the Preservation of Landmarks , and the Woodlands Cemetery .
Timothy J. Riddle , CFA – Board MemberTim Riddle is the master executive military officer of Chartwell and is responsible for the business firm ’s strategical preparation .
