Yesterday was the summertime solstice ( already ! ) , so that ’s it now , the night are draw in . To expend the common , wintertime is coming . How depressing ! I ’m run to seek to forget that and center on the next few calendar month of decent visible radiation and warm weather condition . I note that next calendar week the weather is going a bit bonkers red-hot . That should give everything in the garden a salutary boost , coming on top of the all the rainwater we ’ve had lately . In the lag , it ’s Six on Saturday . Six things , in the garden , on a Saturday . Could be anything – a bloom , a bud , interesting foliage , a weed , a pest , a failure , a margin , anything at all . unite in !

Here are my Six , with a theme of richness , both current and future .

A low grower , these are posture in the front dustup of the patio border . They seed about a bit too , I pucker .
